How It Works
Sculptra contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible material that triggers collagen production deep in the dermis. As your body absorbs the PLLA particles, new collagen forms, thickening the skin and gradually improving facial structure.
Why Bone Structure Matters
Sculptra supports more than just skin—it reinforces the deeper structural elements of the face. As we age, bone resorption occurs in key areas such as the cheekbones, jawline, and around the nose. This loss of support causes the overlying tissue to fold inward, a process known as the “concertina effect.” By stimulating collagen in targeted areas like the zygomatic arch, preauricular region, and mandibular angle, Sculptra helps restore volume and subtly lift the skin, enhancing facial contour and firmness over time.
Recommended Treatment Plan:
